This lovely cosmos grew in my front yard two years ago. Right now, Daffodils and Hyacinth have emerged, but everything else is somewhere in the color range of grey and brown. I still haven't cleaned out the dead foliage from last year. Nor did I plant the garlic last fall like I was supposed to. Still, regardless of all the tasks I haven't done, I always feel welcome in my garden. No one is there to remind me of my slacking on my "duties." That's why I love the garden.

Spring fever...
